Some PostgreSQL recommendations. Each advice is explained with a why not and exception.
Here is a quick list for no specific reason:
- Don’t use NOT IN
- Don’t user char(n)
- Don’t use timestamp (without time zone)
- Don’t use table inheritance (I’m not pointing finger 😃)
